The Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution throughout the products lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, working closely with development from conception to execution of product.
*Working on current line analysis
*Obtain samples
*Evaluate the company line for missed opportunities
*Work with your supervisor to analyze and review the new line or products
*Discuss areas of growth
*Determine new item feasibility
*Use like items/ work with art department to produce specifications for new item idea’s
*Manage communication tools
*Update status changes to existing items
*Reviewing all final margins, costs, PC and company SRP’s
*Communication line lists to catalogue, inventory, sales and customer service
*Edit and maintain files reflective of changes in product line
*Provide list to mock up department for finalizing PC and company planograms.
*Track product production with vendors and inventory department
*Maintain and take ownership of and responsibility for existing categories.
*Develop and maintain communication with current and existing vendors.
*Meeting deadlines, organizational and time management skills are extremely important.
